Notes before handing samples in our office

Please submit your samples as written below.
  1. Put ca. 2 mg of your sample per masurement, which is well purified, dried, and grinded, in a small container and submit it. The center cannot guarantee the reliability of analytical results using less than 0.4 mg of samples. The institute might not be able to meet your request if there are not adequate amounts of samples.

  2. Don't use expensive and/or fragile containers. Attach a label, whose title is same to one on an application form, on a container. Don't cover samples completely.

  3. Put liquid sample into a thin-small container. This makes it easy to measure CHN analysis with glass capillary.

  4. Grind heterogeneous sample (soil, plants, and so on) to a fine powder so that an infinitesimal amount of it is used for measurement.

  5. Make an appointment in advance by the desired day before in case that you want the center to make an instant measurement (for air-sensitive compounds etc.). A sudden request without reservation might not be accepted.

  6. Be careful not to mix impurities such as glasses, fibers while you put your samples in a container.

  7. Samples including mercury can't be accepted.
