1st ACMM online

The 1st Asian Conference on Molecular Magnetism
1st ACMM online, JAPAN
March 7th-10th, 2021

Important Notification
As you know, we still have a serious problem on the pandemic disease of COVID-19 all of the world. We held several discussions in the organizing committees on whether we should have an on-site conference of ACMM or not within this year or soon for the next year. With considering current situation on COVID-19, we finally decided to hold "1st ACMM online" on “March 7th-10th, 2021” using Zoom (for oral) and Remo (for poster).
This is a very disappointing decision, but we have no way to hold ACMM on-site currently.

Additional registration is available now. Please send your information to ACMM secretary by March 3rd.

We are sorry for changing the method for holding ACMM, and sincerely ask for your understanding and cooperation.

WELCOME

It is our great pleasure to take this opportunity to organize the 1st Asian Conference on Molecular Magnetism (1st ACMM) on line, and we welcome the participation of excellent researchers from many Asian countries and regions. This conference offers opportunities to present and discuss the most up-to-date research as well as exchange ideas and information between participants in the field of molecular magnetism. Moreover, we believe that, from ACMM, new trends "from Asia" will be started and that the field will see rapid advancement.

ACMM"Molecular magnetism" is a multidisciplinary area of research that spans chemistry, physics, biology, etc, and it plays an important role in developing new spin-related phenomena and functions. In the field of "molecular magnetism", fundamental research on areas, such as spintronics, spin crossover phenomenon, single-molecule magnets, low dimensional metal complexes, porous magnets, organic radical and biomagnetism, etc. and applied research have expanded widely throughout the world, and there has been an increase in the importance of fundamental studies. In the field of molecular magnetism, Asian researchers have steadily delivered highly original and creative research results, including the discovery of the world's first pure organic molecular ferromagnet, and have led the world in the development of molecular magnetism.

Conference Chair: Masaaki Ohba (Kyushu Univ.)
