The Service Center of the Elementary Analysis of Organic Compounds, Faculty of Science, Kyushu University is the facility where samples of organic compounds etc. are analyzed to determine content rates of carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen.

The method has been used for confirmation of pure compounds. Now analytical values themselves are treated as data for various researches, such as knowledge of industrial and agricultural raw materials. While the accuracy of the results is within 0.3% of the theoretical value using 2-3 mg of samples generally, the center can provide data with higher precision treating less than 1mg of materials.

 The center accepts CHN analysis from the extramural.
