《Principal of the analytical method》

The analytical method was based on differential thermal conductivity method. A sample is completely burned under He with O2 gas at a combustion furnace where CuO is filled. The sample is converted to H2O, CO2, NOx gases, and others. NOx gas is reduced to N2 by Cu at a reduction furnace. The other gases except for H2O, CO2, and N2 are removed by absorbers in combustion or reduction furnace. H2O, CO2, and N2 gases are detected by each thermal conductivity detector as counter signals. Finally they are converted to content mass percentages.
